Downloading from Youtube

I have been using vixy.net over the last couple of months but it takes ages to get the file on to my hard disk.

The main problem is when downloading the file I am on 4mb Broadband but the file downloads at 25MB/Sec. That is slower than my old dialup modem.

I have also given Youtube Download a try and that worked really well for a couple of weeks. Now all I get is: "HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request"

Anyone got any other options to download files from Youtube?

Thanks

I use Save2PC, which was formerly YouTube Downloader.

It's simple, effective and easy to use; I have a dedicated YouTube folder for the downloads and they are automatically listed in alphabetical order.

If you use Firefox Download helper is very useful.

My apologies to bretsky - I didn't check his link...:-(

Didn't like VEOH, it kept butting in asking me to login.

Now using save2pc as linked by bretsky and Stuartli.

It seems to be exactly the same as the one I had, Youtube Downloader. But at least it is working.

Thanks all.

Ticked.
