I am trying to find & download drivers for my external hard drive 80 Gb Freecom Classic Serials
with out much success.

So why is it when you go to download driver I end up downloading Driver Detective which you have to pay for.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to download the drives I require.

Thank you

What was the outcome of looking at that site?

Vista should have all the necessary drivers but apparently doesn't always install them properly

This is the second time you have asked the same question and the second time you have not responded to suggestions.

I have not responded to advice in the past because I did not receive any in my Outlook express. I'm having problems some where down the line

Did you not think to look at the posting?

You have still not given any idea if the Freecom site I linked you to had what you wanted!!

I have used many Freecom external hard drives in XP, Vista and now W7 (both 32 and 64 bit) and I have never had to install drivers for it. Working through the Classic drives on the Freecom site it does not show drivers for XP or Vista a good indication they are not required.

Are connecting via USB and do you get a window asking you to install drivers?

I have a freecom external drive and it does not require a driver download.
