i have just had sky broadband installed & i have opted for the free version which has a download limit of 2GB. somebody at work mentioned that viewing a web page could be classed as a download & surving could eat up my limit very quickly.
is this true or does download limit mean anything you save to your computer?
I have a 2Gb cap, but have never exceeded it. I am on net every day for an hour or two, do a lot of emails, download Anti virus, spyware updates as necessary, download a few music files and other urtilities now and again but have never got near the limit. It is enough for general browsinhg as Vog & Fruitbat have said.
