Download error message; executable corrupted

  Channel 12:11 07 Aug 2004

Having downloaded updates/patches, in recent case Lusetup.exe for Norton's LiveUpdate, but previously for other items,I get the error message on trying to run it "The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity and try again " So I've deleted it and tried again with the same result. I had closed all open programs before the download. Previously I've just left it and done nothing more, but with Norton I need to update my virus details.I can find nothing on Symantec's site to help, other than general advice on Liveupdate errors. I suppose I'll have to delete the settings, and perhaps the program.I have Windows 98SE and NAV 2003.Perhaps someone can advise?
