Dongle or Data Cable (Transferring music to Nokia)

  boxclever 10:26 04 Oct 2005

Please bare with me I'm a bit thick. My daughter wants to transfer music from a PC. (Intel 4 1.8) to her Nokia 6230i. Do I just buy a dongle from Maplins or a Nokia data cable? Which is more reliable and easy to set up? She has Nokia PC Suite installed on the PC. Simple advice would be very much appreciated.

I have the same phone Nokia 6230i.

I purchased a bluetooth dongle from ebay, which on my system connects fine.

It was a little fiddly to set-up, but now that it's all working, it's extremely easy to transfer files to and from the phone.

And really easy to sync my contacts with outlook.

Although this is only my experience. HTH.

Thanks Rigga. I think that's the way I'll go.

I've just bought one from ebay for £11.99 incl postage. Hope it is ok.
