I have had the misfortune to lose my address book.
So in an arrampt to get a start on re building it I asked one of my contacts[One of the few I had remaining] to forward to me any of a series of roundrobins I send out to 'mygang'
This he did and there in the address bar were many of the lost addresses- so a simple matter then of right click on each and add to address book.
Well that bit worked.
But when I came to send an E-mail - it was rejected say ing the address must ave a Domain Name
a typical address is as all ways

[email protected]

So whats a domain name thats is missing?

In that example the domain is "ISP".

having thought more about it your address list may have had a group name linking to the full mail address on your computer which is not there now, the only solution as i see it is to recreate the list with full e mail addresses and my apologies if any real billblogs exist.

It seems the copying process I described, did the copy bit OK ,but odd > and , and . crept in here and there.
The only way out it seems was to carefully edit them one by one.
