A quick one, i think. Could the answer possibly be a yes or no.
One or the other Brad lol
If you can find and install a Wireless Network Adapter that has Windows ME drivers, then it will work. I have used a PCMCIA Wireless Network Adapter in a laptop running Windows 98SE without a problem.
click here There is a USB dongle that works with ME
Thanks Strawballs, never thought that it may be that the Netgear USB's would not work with ME.
Just double checked and my Netgear USB wireless dongle is ME compatible. Must be a problem with something else.
Can you elaborate on the problem that you are having? - Does the software install properly?- Does the adapter find the router's SSID?- Does "Connecting" to the selected SSID fail? - Does it "Connect" but fail to obtain an IP address?Windows ME may not support WPA encryption if that's what your router is configured to use.
