Does spybot S&D work well without teatimer ?

I remember it seemed to throw up alot of confusing alerts last time I used it, so I'm wondering if it is really needed ? or if there is an easier way to install it safely without all the alerts ?

I've never used TeaTimer with S and D.

I think you will find a lot of people disable the tea-timer simply because of the popups alerting you to changes,it can be a bit annoying.

It is not essential and will not hinder the working side of Spybot SD,but does offer you more protection.

Works fine with Defender, just untick the teatimer upon installation of spybot SD.

Is it possible to remove Tea Timer from an existing set up, or can it only be done on setup?

You cannot remove the TeaTimer but you can disable this if required.
