One of the things I do on this wonderous device is to belong to a forum. I am sure you are aware how these work All members enter a discussion and send their pieces to a 'central hub' where it all recirculates to the membership, and they respond, etc.
When this happens ones own input comes back on the next hook up together with responses.
This happens most of the time. When I respond to a piece or initiate a new topic, the item is inevitably composed in a 'reply'window- that is the send address is the same as the received address.
Here is the puzzle.
Some times a contribution from me, does not 'come back' and there are no mentions/responses to the piece - so did the list get it?
Sometimes as this morning there were six messages all referring to a topic from a member which never appeared on my screen.
So on this increasingly busy electronic highway, does every thing sent always arrive? J
