Hi wondering if anyone could help me i have recently bought a DLink DSL-924 wireless router which came with a DWL-G122 wireless dongle. The problem is that my connection keeps dropping randomly even though the connection strength stays at excellent. It's happening on the computer with the dongle and is becoming increasingly annoying. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated thanks for your time.

Are you using the cradle with the adapter or just plugging the adapter to laptop

Optimal wireless reception using its cradle.

Position the DWL-G122 almost anywhere in your workspace to achieve the best
reception possible.

If you are using 2.4GHz cordless phones, X-10 equipment or other home
security systems, ceiling fans, and lights, your wireless connection will
degrade dramatically or drop altogether.

Try changing the channel on your router, access point and wireless adapter to a different channel to
avoid interference.

Keep your product away (at least 3-6 feet) from electrical devices that
generate RF noise, like microwaves, monitors, electric motors, etc.
