Have you all the codecs installed?

  toniclady 22:40 28 Jun 2005

yes i think so

it sounds as if then that you may have to many processes running in the background

Has anything been installed lately that may take system resources, such as Virus scanners etc etc?

I think something as changed in registry. You could run Restore to a earlier time

i did put avg free on but ive taken it off now as i thought that might have had something to do with it, but it still not working.....where can i get the codecs from?????? i will try that and if not i will try and restore to an earlier time

Codecs are normally with DiVX

Install AVG again and see if it resolves the issue and then we will know where to start

  toniclady 23:24 28 Jun 2005

i have done that but still not working

  User-312386 23:28 28 Jun 2005

use system restore (i assume you are using XP) and go back to a date it was working

This will tell us if it is a registry problem or not

  toniclady 23:57 28 Jun 2005

yes i am using xp and it still isnt working.....i've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still nothing

Use system restore

Go to Start>all programmes>accessories>System tools>system restore

Now click on a date when it was working ok

Dont worry you don't lose and files, only registry settngs are put back
