Does anyone know if you can still distribute your MS Access DB without the user having Office/Access installed.

I know you used to be able to select an option so that Access includes all files used in the application into the front end file, but I can't find the setting.

Any idees??

I am afraid that there is only a snapshot viewer and no info of how to fix my problem. Thanx anycase.

Only other thing I can think of is:
you can possibly create an MDE (Tools - Db utilities - Create MDE), If the option to create MDE is greyed out you need to open the MDB file in exclusive mode. Go to file-open, click on the drop down box and choose open exclusive.

Not working either. Mde is your DB without any code, so basically just more safe. No editting can be done.

Any other idees?

Sorry - link did not paste correctly. Go to click here and search for article 208730. It gives an explanation of Access Run-Time.
