I have file hippo and its telling me that there is an update for current Nvidia display driver from 186.18 to 195.62.

One thing I often read on the Forum is that you should only update drivers if you are having problems.

Does this also apply to the display drivers in which case should I go ahead and update.(my current driver is working perfectly well)
Thanks.

if it aint broke etc., unless you have a problem or want a specific new feature in the new driver I would not bother.

This is what the new driver adds click here

If you don't need any of these then I would not bother at this time as often the driver updates can be flakey.

agree with howard64,sometimes you may find that the drivers from your pc manufacturers site will be the best availiable.as above,if it ain't broke.

Many thanks to those who replied.

Even relatively simple procedures for me seem to end up causing problems so have decided to take the advice given an leave things as they are.

Tony.
