Diskeeper Lite

After much deliberation I have downloaded this program. My hard drive with the system file is 20GB, it was 6% fragmented. The program took two minutes to defragment this drive. How the hell does it do this in this time???

I don't know how it does it, but that is a bit quick. My 40 Gbyte drive takes up to ten minutes, while I am working. I suppose it depends on how many files you have, and how many fragments.

Perhaps the question you should be asking is, "Why does the Windows defragmentation tool take so long?"

I use Diskeeper Lite too.And it is very quick. It does my 60gig in less than that(I've only got about 5gig filled up tho').

I can do my laptop in 3 mins, 20gb. and my desktop 40gb in 5 and my 60gb in 5. It was easy.

After using Lite for a while I decided to take the plunge and went for the full version.

Purely out of interest you may find this interesting.
