Disk Drive redesignates on re-boot!

I'm running XP and following installation of a wireless router my PC has decided to re-assign the Drive letter of one of my hard drives.

Drives C / D (partitioned) are fine, but Drive E (the biggest) gets designated Drive G, with the CD drive moving to E and DVD Drive to F !??

This occurs every time I shut down, re-boot or enter Standby mode.

I know how to re-assign the drive letters via Control Panel/ Admin Tools / Computer Managment / Disk Management & the problem is soolved but only until re-boot! I've tried turning off System Restore on E, to no avail.

The redesignation of the Hard Drive wouldn't be such a problem but I have MP4 files on E that won't play through iTunes because the path is changed, plus Programs I have installed that won't run until I change everything back to "E" !!

Your help will be very much appreciated!

I've had no replies to this - can anyone offer any insight?
