Disc Partition Corrupt

  spras 12:45 10 Sep 2006

I have 2 HDD's, an IDE drive that is unpartitioned and contains windows and some software and a partitioned SATA (E:, F:, G:, H:). The SATA has recently been causing a lot of problems which I have now mostly resolved apart from the primary partition (E:) is corrupted. It contains all my music files, which I have backed up to my IDE (C:). I cannot access the partition and it does not show up in PartitionMagic or My Computer. Check Disk will start on it but fails soon in to the process, sometimes giving an error something like 'Master File Table Corrupt' (but it does not always give this). What do I do?

Windows XP SP 2
Seagate Baracuda SATA 200GB
AMD AThlon 64 3000+
Geforce FX 5950 256mb gfx
Asus k8v deluxe mobo
