Digits after .com in email address

  VNAM75 23:58 14 Dec 2008

I've been given an email address but it was probably written wrong and is in the format

persons name.com.123456789

Is it possible for it to have digits at the end?

No. An email address would be in the form:

[email protected] domain_name. com Note the @ sign.

Thanks, I've asked for the email again.

The format is actually

[email protected]_name.com.123456789

As you can see from your link the digits after .com are not recognized - as MAJ said above. If you click on the address you have typed it should open up your default email program, and in the To: box you will notice that the digits are ignored.
