Can anyone tell me roughly the MB per min. rate of a camera used in video mode and recommend a good reasonably priced SD card.Ebuyer have dozens but which are the decent makes.Would like to get as large as possible without breaking the bank.

Don't worry about different makes of memory card, they're mostly likely all re-labelled anyway.

It depends on the camera entirely and the compression used. Record for a bit and see what the file takes up and use that as a basis for calculating longer video shots.

see click here for sd cards, buy as big as you can afford, either 512Mb or 1Gb
