Dialog Message on Start Up

  Southernboy 14:40 22 Oct 2004

When I switch my PC on (running W98SE), a message box appears during the Startup process, showing DIALOG in the header, but there is no text at all in the message area. The word DIALOG also appears in the Toolbar. Both disappear when startup is complete.

This has only happened since I attached an external Iomega Zip Drive.

Can anyone though light on this mystery, please?

Seems to be a poorly written startup message - something that is loading with the drivers for the Sip drive. As it goes, there is nothing to worry about.

Could it be removed?

Why remove it? Seems to me that it is just a message box that pops up as the machine starts.

It is just that I don't like errors, but I guess you are right. Why worry?
