I have found that a dialler program keeps appearing on my desktop asking for a password. I have traced the file as C:\Program Files\dialers\sexy_blondes|sexy_blondes.exe but how do I get rid of this completely?

Many thanks - is the Command Prompt window where you go to Run?

Start, Run, type

cmd

and click OK.

I know I'm being thick but when I typed in cmd documents and settings were already entered and I then tyoed in the pathway to the dialer file but it was not recognised.

Hmm.

Try running Spybot click here - it detects and removes a lot of dialers.

Still having problems. Spyhbot is able to remove but each time I reboot the problems are back. I presume System REstore is the problem? Is it safe to turn System Restore off; reboot and hopefully that will deal with the spyware. The infected files are

Primesoft Safesearch. Windows Secutiry Center Antivirus Disable Notify
Windows Security Center firewall disable notify and
Dlucacwad

The two middle ones are nothing to worry about click here

Safesearch click here

But you could try turning System Restore off, as you say.

Thanks - will try that later as I have to leave at the moment
