Dialer Protection

  baz\ 21:17 26 Oct 2005

I have read many threads regarding this subject but have not found a definite answer.
I have also been on the Dialer Control website (I'm not good at reading German!) but can faintly make out that it charges now for its software. I have XP sp2 and am on a dial up connection and was wondering if anyone could help me out and recommend me some free tools to keep dialer's away.

MSoftAntispy Beta click here will also stop dialers and other syware used in conjunction with spywareblaster you will be well protected against spyware.

Have you got a good antivirus program and firewall not windows sp2 firewall?

There is only guaranteed solution to prevent diallers from dialling out.

Switch to BB and never connect your dial-up modem to the 'phone socket.

Whilst BB will not prevent diallers getting onto your PC, because BB doesn't 'dial', any diallers that are on your PC cannot dial out.
