Hi all, My sister is having a problem with her Wanadoo AnyTime dial up connection. For some reason it keeps disconnecting itself from the net but not at regular intervals, sometimes after only a few minutes and other times after about an hour. I've unticked 'disconnect if idle' and 'disconnect when connection may no longer be needed' but it doesn't make any difference. Computer spec is - Windows ME (fully updated), ZoneAlarm Security Suite (fully updated), ISP is Wanadoo.
try using a program called stay live it pings the isp regularly and prevents disconnection i found it made a big difference when i was on dial up just put stay live into google and you will see it download it to a suitable dolder unzip and run it and you may well find your problem fixed
