I installed sky broadband yesterday and it seems to be running fine.the only problem I seem to have is that my pc keeps telling me that new hardware has been found.the hardware is a atm network controller and a base system device.no drivers can be found for these and the device manager shows yellow question marks on these devices.is this normal when sky broadband is used?
thanks

How are you connecting to the 'net - wirelessly to the Sky router ? Which version of Windows?

Looks like you need to load Lan Drivers from Motherboard CD or get them from the Lan Site if it's a PCI, not built into mobo

Sounds like it is built into mobo. So you need to get the drivers from Computer Site or Motherboard Site

I think I have found the problem now. I had to uninstall the drivers for my adsl pci modem to get sky broadband to work , but I had not removed the modem from my pc.
many thanks for taking the time to help me with this problem.
