desperate to learn : have DW4

hi all, im trying to break in to web design, ive got my mitts on DW4 and Fireworks and would like to produce a simple static page with an e-mail button...after playing around for a bit i think ive achived this and it seems to work when i test it in IE, ive regd my domain for mail handling but am struggling to link it all up, is there a guru out there

Can you post a link to your page if its online so we can look at the code?

The button link shouls be mailto:email address and not http

Best bet....Your local Library will have plenty of books on DW 4 (thatshow I learnt)

The above will cover the bases and get you up and running. A quick search on Google will give you literally hundreds more tutorials on Dreamweaver.

Domain registration is a good starting point but you also need a web host account to put your files on. The domain name has to point to the hosted web space (and your files that are on it) to work properly.

If you post details of who you registered your domain with one of us will try to help further.
