Desktop shortcut arrow

Hi peeps
Does anyone know a small standalone prg that will remove the arrow from desktop shortcut items.
I know Tweak Xp has this on offer, but dont need the whole package!!
running win XP home

TweakUI for XP in Power toys for WindowsXP will do the trick.

You should be aware that you will not then be able to tell what is a shortcut and what is not, fro just lookin at them

And there is a very important difference - you can delete a shortcut from the desktop, with no adverse effects other than replacing it. If you do this with a non-shortcut file, you delete the actual file.

Why is it so desperate simply not to have the arrow?

sorry to be a perfectionist but I just find the arrows annoy! When running 98 I remember losing the arrows and enjoying a clutter free desktop.
I dont mean to diss U but I just dont like em

Why not just d/l Tweak???????? It takes up little room and you do not have to use all the options.

Cannot understand that I have 2 pcs both running WinXP Home and using TweakUI for WinXP does the trick.
Have just tried it again,you can use very small arrow which is bearly noticeable[perhaps that may suit you]which I did,than removed it and it works.
