Desktop rotated

My grandson was left alone for a short while and started pressing keys on my laptop (O/S XP). I don't know what he pressed, but the end result is that my whole desktop has rotated 90 degrees and the icons which were running down the right hand side of the screen are now lying on their sides at the top of the screen!!
Can you help me to get back to normal?

Crl + Alt + (Arrow key)

Depending on which arrow key you press, the screen will rotate differently
