Hello all, I am ater a free program that will allow me to remotely control my Dads computer, he is 70 odd and needs all the help he can get so it has to easy to use his end. I have tried Team viewer but that connects about 1 in 10 attempts so is no good for our needs. I have tried googleing but I have to pay for the ones that come up and the amount of time I would use it is not worth it. I have tried Messenger but it is way too slow....any suggestions please.

Very surprised to hear you have such problems with TeamViewer - I've used it for a long time with numerous people and absolutely no problems, including one partner who was on dial-up!

But CrossLoop suggested by brundle is another good program.

It was always hit and miss with team viewer but just tried Crossloop and it performed brilliantly. Thanks for the help and a Happy New Year to all
