  User-312386 15:54 17 Nov 2006

Hi all

I am stumped

I cant see a way to remove my friends Dell PSU

It's one of those silly slim ones

Any ideas?

There are no screws in the back of the case

Pictures would be nice

I can see a green handle type thing

I am stumped

If the psu is anything like the drives, the green handle will be the means of extracting it. In the case of the drives they are screwed to green plastic mounts, which slide into the case, rather than being screwed to the case itself.

ps. just tried it on one of my Dells and if you give the green handle a good tug in the direction of the arrow the psu will come out.

still cant get the little thing out

Next question is where do you buy these from?

the PSU looks like the first one click here however, the release button is so close to the green pull lever, you can not do both operations simultaneously
