Dell Dimension E520 owners?

  badgery 09:18 13 Jan 2007

I'm looking to buy an E520 at £449 but have one or two concerns about whether I would be able to add an extra HDD (internally!). The online email contacts wont give me an answer, saying phone their 0870 number, but I don't want the sales pitch!
Also how many USB sockets are there and are they back or front?
I see there are two PCI slots, which will cope with my modem and a firewire .
If anyone has this model I would be grateful for any help/advice.
Unfortunately I seem to have missed the 250Gb HDD and cordless keybd/mouse, which was on offer a couple of days ago!

it says that it has 7 USB ports 2 front/5 back and also says it supports 2 hard drives.

Thanks, just what I needed (presuming USA spec is same, of course)- also assume the Dell would accept a Maxtor HDD?

Another thread said to haggle with Dell for extra specs for your money, anyone have any joy with this for a 'home' computer?

here's the uk page

seems the same except you have an extra usb port, not a bad thing.

Cheers, SLAYER, the time I seemed to spend trying to find this info....!! Feel such an idiot. Thanks again.
