Dell desktop warranty

I am having some trouble getting my desktop repaired. I spent over one hour on the phone trying to press buttons, take the back off, and they finally decided to take it back on a Monday, got it back on friday, and it has still got a blue screen, when I try to switch off.
It has a new hard disk, but is still not working properly. They told me when I emailed that it has a blue screen because there had been so much work done on it --- what rubbish. Anybody had the same trouble? I paid for the three year warranty, and so far it hasn't been worth it.

If you give some details here, someone may be able to help.

What error message comes with the blue screen?

What is the spec of the machine?

What programs run all the time - antivirus, etc?

They have since emailed me and asked me to run diagnostics. Will get back to the forum if this does not work. thanks
