Deleting files

  frenchman96 10:59 27 Nov 2009

I recently UNinstalled a HP printer and I used Add/remove AND Revoninstaller but there are files left anfter doing a search.

I opened Windows Explorer and deleted all the HP folders in left window but when doing a search for HP, there are 00's of files and folders to do with HP.

I can delete some files in small groups but when I try to do quantity, it prevents me doing so.

as search will find the deleted files too

also run ccleaner or regseeker to route out dead files

When using Revo, you should follow these instructions exactly ...

During the un-install process you may be asked if you want to re-start your computer, DO NOT re-start at this point, let Revo continue. You will eventually get the option to Select All and to Delete - DO SO. You may be given the same options a second time, again DO SO, do not be picky, just accept all that Revo chooses.
After clicking on Finish, re-start your computer.

Yes, I always empty the bin in tampden with deleting.

Yes I do wait and follow Revo until remnants are cleared.
