Deleting e-mails from the server

  taff jones 21:38 18 Jan 2004

I am using Outlook 2000 to download my e-mails. I have an e-mail that is 10.3Mb on the server that I cannot download, but also that I no longer need. How can I delete the e-mail from the server?

When I've had this problem I've rang my isp and asked them to delete it for me :)

My isp is Tiscali and when I had a similar problem I went onto the Tiscali home page and on the top navigation bar there was an 'email' tab,I clicked on this it then showed any emails for me here .I noticed that there was a large Mb email that I suspected was blocking the rest so after reading it , deleted it and then forwarded the rest to my inbox, problem solved.
I realise you may not be using Tiscali but I think the Home Pages of most isp's are a similar set up , try this.
