Deleting access-denied files

I have a Pockey PocketVault portable hard drive which has some folders with nonsense names on it. I don't know how they got there, but Windows won't let me view nor delete them, not even in safe mode. Is there a method or program that lets you erase an access-denied file or folder?

have you tried accessing the drive through a command line.

These files may be related to the operating system of the Pockey PocketVault.

eg Drivers, without which it will not operate!
