Pressing the delete key doesnt work.

Any ideas on how to fix it? Probably a stupid question but is there a way to reset keyboard settings or something?

Some keyboard devices require special software (other than a driver) to run them. If you do not install this software, the device might not work at all, or some of its features might not work correctly.

If your device came with software, follow the manufacturer's instructions to install it. If you have just upgraded to a new version of Windows, you might need an updated version of the software also.

Contact the manufacturer of your device, or visit the manufacturer's Web site, to find out whether a software update is available.

The driver for your keyboard might not be compatible with Windows XP, or it might be corrupted. You can try to solve the problem by removing and reinstalling your old driver, or searching for an updated driver.

First, try removing and reinstalling your old driver. When you remove an existing driver and restart your computer, Windows should automatically detect your hardware and display a wizard that helps you install the drivers for it. If this wizard does not appear, install a new driver manually.

Try one of the following to search for an updated driver:

Check the Windows Update Web site for an updated driver. To go to the Windows Update Web site, click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Update. Contact the manufacturer of your device, or visit the manufacturer's Web site, to see whether an updated driver is available.
