I have an HP PSC printer which is fine. I also have Clickbook software which is excellent for producing A5 booklets from A4 Word or PDF documents. Clickbook is installed as an alternative printer. On boot up, CB is the default printer, not that I want it to be. I set my PSC to be the default but every hour or so I find that it has changed to CB. Why, and how can I stop it? It may or may not be relevant but every hour I get a screen message saying that contact has been lost with the scanner. Well it ain't 'cos the PSC works fine all the time.
