Default E-Mail Program Problem

  985263 14:47 12 Mar 2003

I have got Windows 2000 and Outlook Express 5.5.
I have been using it happily for e-mail use.

If I receive an e-mail with an address link on and I click on it, hundreds of explorer pages open up or it asks me to manually configure an internet service(In Outlook)

When I check to make sure that Outlook Express is my default mail handler the e-mail box is blank and Outlook Express is not an option.

Try going Start/Settings/Control Panel choose Add/Remove Programs and drill down to Microsoft Internet Explorer and highlight it... click on will now recieve 3 options ...choose REPAIR
