Hi, i have been advised by 2 people on 2 different cards. One being a PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 GTO 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-054-PC) from click here

and the Sapphire ATI Raedon X1600 PRO 256MB DDR2 PCI-E DVI TVO from click here

Could anyone suggest which would be the better one to get considering i am an online gamer currently have an ATI Radeon x300 and i have a 305w psu.

Thanks
Ade

i think you will find you might need a new power supply to use new cards i have a x800xl
and you have to plug in an extra plug to give it a direct power supply

hmm..., so you dont think it will work? without a new power supply. In a pervious post (last ngith) i was told it should be allright, but i was getting a secodn opinion. But i hear the X800 GTO 256mb will need a minimum of 300w for its power supply. So shouldnt it be ok?

two problems
one pushing a power supply to limit all time can not be good also i have 450w power supply
but i suspect from somr reviews 400w is more like its max output

two it will depend how many hard drives cd/dvd drives all using the same power supply

i have 1 cd drvie and 1 hard drive

it says on this threead that the x800 GTO was allright on a 300w psu on this post i was just wondering which would be the better take a look click here

from thses details it should work all i would say
is can your power supply still reach 305w
this is its max output

to be honest i dont know if it can reach it. But its not as if i can just replace it due to the fact it will break its warrenty... whihc im sure u will understand
