Dont know if most techies have realised but DDR3 is now redily available for desktop computing starting from speeds of 1333 Mhz CL7Im currently in the process in moving from DDR to DDR2 as im upgrading my system specs.I will be getting a new motherboard and other components but im stuck in deciding if i should wait until DDR3 motherboards are redily available or carry on with the upgrade to DDR2.I know that DDR2 memory were only goiong to be short lived so any suggestions on this topic would be much appreciated.
You can never keep up with PC Parts :)
You may as well wait till the new core 2 duo's come out later this year.
but im an amd fan and will never change, is there any indication when will amd embrace the new memory DDR3
