ddr ram

i have a 256mb pc2100 running on my motherboard at the moment. i have just bought a 1gb pc3200 my motherboard will support pc3200. can i have them both running or will i have to take the pc2100 out please help

If you have them both fitted all the ram will run at the lowest speed eg at ddr pc2100 speed. If I were you I would not bother fitting the pc2100 ram, 1 gig of pc3200 will be enough to run everything you want with ease.
