i am still stuck on which speed to get ie pc2100 pc2700 pc3200 i have run belarc advisor and i tells me i have a lite-on tech 0884h motherboard but i can not find any info on what speed ram it can take please help i am stuck

If the Everest app says DDR,then yes you can.If it says you have SDRAM,then no you cannot.

go to crucial click here and in the memory selector enter your motherboard as above and see what it comes back with as a possibility for you mobo. That will tell you the fastest spec RAM you can install in your board.

Johnsims is right, Crucial is the best place to go to find out what you can use. It's widely recognised as the best place to go to buy ram. I and many others never go anywhere else.
