hi all,i have xp home and in event viewer i have the following error:

event id 1005 DCOM got an error"the service database is locked"attempting to start the service imapiservice with arguements "-service"in order to run the server:{520CCA63-51A5-11D3-9144-00104BA11C5E}

the MS help tells me to have a look for errors relating to the service controller,i know imapi is windows burning service,sure enough there is an error telling me the imapi service entered the stopped state just before the time of the DCOM error above(no futher info)

only thing i could find was click here this is the error as far as i can see but i have xp home as above.

at the time of the error i was creating an image of my hard drive with acronis to cdrs(this worked ok)

i had a look in my services and cant see anything out of the ordaniary here.any ideas folks.

many thanks.
