If you can't you can get 230v to 12v transformers. That's what car audio companies use to put game consoles in cars.

wow some good information here. Hmm astep-down transformer to 12v would be pretty cool. but would it run well?

Where?

shortcircuit do a search on google or some other search engine and there's bound to be something. But how do we change dc to ac for the adapter to work. Don't be too optimistic about this idea shortcircuit, may not work.

Cheers mate. Will keep looking

hi, i have found this click here but the conversion is from DC toAC and it only goes up to 110 v on AC from 12V DC, so even if an AC to DC was found i dont think the conversion would be small enough. Still worth a try.

sorry aboutt he american site, but if you go to link on the left called AC DC Adapters, that might be what youre looking for. Downside is it is an american site. :(

my tft monitor runs from a 12v transformer (cant find it on the simply web site)

All the tft`s that i come across at work run from 12v, all you need is a power connector or cut the one from the transformer and use that.
