*.dbx files - location

I find this a little strange.

I did a search for .dbx files (OE messages) and navigated to C:Documents and Settings\ME\Application Data\Identities\{ALPHA NUMERIC} but the file is empty. `Search` tells me they are there and I can see them when I open OE so why is the file empty?

Can anyone answer this?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi, you are probably looking at the wrong location.
Normally held here.
C:Documents and Settings\ME\LOCAL SETTINGS\Application Data\Identities\{ALPHA NUMERIC}

Just go to Search. in the box type *.dbx
Search the right Partition

you need to enable 'show hidden files and folders'

Start > My Computer > explore > Tools > View and put a dot in 'show hidden files and folders' click on Apply and OK

Well done. You spotted my deliberate(?) mistake. For some reason I became word blind to Local Settings.

Thanks everyone for responding. I genuinely thought something had changed.
