Hi,
If you look on Amazon.co.uk under electronics it is advertiseing this item at £12.99 with free postage on orders over £15.00.
Is this item suitable for backup storage of data and also for transfering data from one PC to another, and is it a good price?
Thanks
Rodz

£10.49 here

admittedly there is postage to pay, but if you're prepared to buy 2 (or something else) to qualify for free postage at Amazon then that is a good price.

I would be a bit wary of anything like this that seems too cheap! there are a lot of substandard ones about (Korean K*ap)that don't last very long,I know at least 4 people that have fallen for this. The decent average if you look around is appx double this price up to around £46.HTH.

Thanks to everybody for your help, note has been taken of all that has been said.
On that same Amazon site they are offering a 2GB for £21-99 free postage. ( that is cheap).
I was going to use the stick to back up my data but if it gets corrupted it has defeated the object.
