Data Transfer

I'm getting a new laptop soon that has about 120Gb more storage than my current laptop and desktop put together.

I need help in getting the best way to transfer the data I still need from the other two and holding it all in one place.

The only outputs the laptop and desktop appear to have (and that I understand)is USB 1.1. I'm not concerned about the time a data transfer would take, I'm looking for ease of set up and cheapness of cables etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If they have serial ports then click here should help you.

I've performed this using an ethernet cable between two laptops. Once you place the cable in each laptop, make the appropiate data folders 'shared'. Look for the old laptop on your network on the new laptop, and drag the files over.
