damn 'Twain-tech' spyfile

Annoyingly I have got a adware program on my computer from Twain-Tech. Now the company says that it can be uninstalled on the add/remove files section, but it is not showing up there. I have located the offending file but it is a .dll file and so Windows and adware will not delete it. How do i get rid of it?

I would try cutting and pasting the file to another folder. This could cause a number of problems hence backing it up. You need to be sure that this file is not essential to windows or started with windows (msconfig) as both of these could stop you putting the file back. You say it is a .dll, this would only be part of the program surely?
