Ive been looking on the internet and have come accross a company called Dachshund. Now they have some interesting programs available for your PC, but the most appealing to me was the Battery Doubler for Laptops. Now i was going to try this, but how isit possible for a program to double battery life, i was thinking i'd seek advice from the Masters over at PC advisor. So, is this thing dangerous, the last thing i'd want to do is damage my battery or worse my new laptop!
Can you post a link please.
click here seems to be what he is referring to
yes in the download section thank you.
Why not try the trial version. I am skeptical but you never know...
well as i say i do not want to try something that states it can do something so amazing, how can a program double a batterys life, i dont get it!?
Basically it switches things off which are not in use eg usb ports, according to what I've read.
I'm 99.999% confident that this cannot harm your laptop or its battery. Why not:Fully charge the batteryUse the laptop until the low battery warning comes upRecharge the battery. Note the elapsed time.Install the softwareUse the laptop until the low battery warning appears. Note the time. Any substantial difference?
well it sais 1:30 mins fully charged, but it does go down slightly faster, i get probly about 50 mins out of it...i will probly try this and note the difference, il tell everyone the results.
