D505 problem

my kids have a dell D505 and 4 some unknown reason it will not start up at all can any 1 help thanx

Try to start in safe mode [Just keep pressing F8 or F5 as computer starts]And try last good configuration.or system restore.

Or try remove battery and power supply.Hold start key for 30 seconds and then install battery and and switch on power supply again and then try and switch computer on.

Do you have any lights on such as power, battery charging, hard drive? If not it could be that your battery has run down and it is not charging.

Maybe try it with the battery disconnected,And see if it works.If so new battery probably needed.Only trying to fill in until someone can give you the information that you need.

yeah i dont have any lights on when u said chub_tor i will have 2 get a new battery 4 it thanx

But it should work with the battery out and the charger plugged in, if not you have more than a battery replacement problem.
