D-link Wireless Security Problem

  MR ME 17:32 14 Oct 2007

Hi ive got a problem with my wireless D-link DI-524 i was on the computer and a popup came up with next doors pc trying to access files so i decided to put on security which i never got round to doing. I used WPA-PSK. This worked fine on my psp which i used to test it and the pass key worked. When i came to try the Laptop and xbox 360 they both dont connect to the network. They both worked fine before the security can anyone over advice how to allow my laptop and 360 to access my wireless

You need to enter the encrytion key on all machines.

Though i use Wep on my network,do be aware it is the least secure.

I have run WEP for a few years now with a decent firewall and routers firewall and to be honest you are very unlikely to be hacked. However,WEP can be easily cracked by the people in the know.
