When I start my system I get this error message

The specified module could not be found

I've googled it, but to no avail

Anyone know how I can fix it?

Stsrt - run - type msconfig - press OK

check what programs are trying to run on startup untick any you are not sure of or post names here.
Make sure you leave your antivirus and firewall running at start.

there's something labelled 6cdea343 in msconfig
and the command is run32dll.exe

Silly question, but have you checked for malware? SuperAntiSpyware click here

i've had some virus' recently - something called conhook or something like that and various adware.

i've bought kapersky and ran spybot and adaware - not sure if they've ridded me of the problems though

Anything in System32 makes me apprehensive. It's the favourite place for malware to nestle in. The '6cdea343' reminds me of the base codes given to BT Homehubs. If you're on BT I'd relax. If not run all your virus/spyware software checks to be sure.

You say you " had some virus' recently".

Does this mean you got rid of it?

ifo so, the most likely explanation is that whilst the virus has gone the command starting it everytime you start the PC is still there. However as the virus file has gone you get the message

"The specified module could not be found"

USe MSCONFIG again and look for a program with a command containing c:\windows\system32\xubkhwfj.dll in the Command Column. Untick it, click OK and reboot.

Run the virus/malware checks in Safe Mode.
